The wall lighting is designed with a hardwired style and fabric shade. It emits a softer light than other exposed lamp shades, but provides a brighter light than other battery-powered lights with fabric shades. The UL listed socket, made of ceramics, is not prone to crooking and can be replaced in case of any scratches or fissures.

To install the wall light, follow these steps:

1. Check all the parts and take off the ring on the bulb holder.
2. Secure the mounting plate with the included screws and connect the wires. If you want to use the sconce as a battery wall light, fix the canopy on the wall without wires directly.
3. Screw the metal base upward or downward according to your needs.
4. Unfold the lampshade and fix it to the metal frame with the clips.
5. Put the lampshade on the E26 holder, tighten the hook and loop tape, and lock the ring tightly.
6. Screw in your preferred bulb. The installation is complete!

The hardwired style is brighter than the battery-powered one, and you don't need to worry about the battery running out. The fabric shade can emit the lighting evenly. The battery-powered style is friendly for placement without electricity, making it perfect for apartments and tenements, but it may not be bright enough to light up a space.
